Probably also not funny to blondes with CTS either :)

: Most DRs don't really understand CTS as well as they think. Here is a joke I heard that reminds me of going to the DR to discuss CTS.

: A blond goes to the auto repair shop to see about getting the dents in her car fixed.

: The repair man tells her that to really fix her car the way it should be repaired would be too expensive and time consuming. Instead he tells her all she really needs to do is to go home and blow into the tail pipe to blow the dents out of the car. He added to make sure to let the car cool off, otherwise she might really burn herself when trying to blow the dents out of her car.

: The girl leaves, thinking... "man he must think I am stupid, that I would blow on a hot tail pipe". The girl thinks about what the repair man said and thought well I might as well give it a try. She lets the car cool off and goes out and starts blowing into the tail pipe but the dents remain. Later her roommate comes in and tells her "no wonder it isn't working, you first have to roll up the windows".

: Too me it sounds like a DR trying to treat someone for CTS. They feed us lines of BS and few ever really help.

:
: : Has anyone ever tried or heard of Dr. Sarno? Another board I visit is raving about him and I thought a few of you may want to look into it. Basically, he believes it's all in your head, which I do not believe, but I sware that the other board is having a lot of success! What works for one, doesn't always work for another, and visa versa!
