: Apparently Topamax is primarily used for migraines and as an anti-seizure, but also helps with the pain and numbness of CTS. I'm only assuming, but I since I complained of occasional excruciating pain with the CTS, the neuro gave it to me to tide me over until surgery. From what I've gathered, it doesn't *heal* the CTS, only alleviates the symptoms.
