In addition to what Copdaddy noted, there is also an article (to which I'll link) from the L.A. Times that states that prolonged misuse of Vicodin has been linked to hearing loss. I'm not suggesting that you've abused it, yet you did mention that you are "popping more and more pills to keep up with the pain." You may want to ask your physician about possibly trying another medication.

: WC has not accepted my claim, therefore I cannot obtain any benefits through them. To some degree I have found Vicodin/Soma to relieve the pain, but find that I am popping more pills to keep up with the pain.
: I have been taking Vicodin for about one year now. Are there any known health risks? I know its addictive, but what are its long term effects?
