Hi, I would like to hear if anyone knows,is surgery the only choice for people? it may be if its way far progressed.I feel I havent found enough evidence to convince me yet other then releasing or cutting the transverse tendon to release pressure on the nerves.how does that really help? what happens if your nerves swell again then the same results? carpel tunnel. I mean what ive seen here are people trying to get relief and get back theyre normal feeling hands.but what causes the problem to begin with? R.S.I...repetitive strain injury.that causes the swelling causing carpel tunnel from what ive read. Ive been told I should have the surgery. but I want it to be the cure all which I havent seen yet. my main question is is there a way to cause the nerves to stop being adjatated then they will stop swelling causing the problems to stop? is that crazy for wondering that? I mean cutting the tunnel only seems to give the nerves more room to swell if we dont change the form in which were performing something.
