: : : : Erin : : : : Thanks for the reply. Seems to be the same on different bikes. Can also happen t right hand driving. Sometimes think it could be phycosematic - it only happens when I think about it!! About a year ago I gave up a computer career for a more physical occupation, this probably dosen't help. Tried favouring my left arm, but its amazingly inept. : : : : Cheers : : : : : : : It could be CTS but it could be other things as well. The vibration is probably the cause. You would need to have some test done to be sure it is not something other than CTS (MRI of the neck, blood work and nerve study of hand/arm). : : : : : Hope you get better. : : : : : : : : : : : Think I may have this Carpal Tunnel Problem. : : : : : : Anyone know of how riding a motorcycle can trigger it? After about 10 mins my right hand starts to tingle in the appopriate fingers and eventually the whole hand goes numb. Tricky. : : : : : : Does this sould like CTS? The alternative could be a Harley D which is obviously not an option. : : : Sounds like a nerve problem to me.. I think you should do as Erin stated and get testing done to find your answer.. By the way, what do you mean the alternative could be a Harley D Which is obviously not an option? Why not, since Harely's rule? lol What kind of bike are you riding now? : : : Debbie : : Debbie : : Could this be the end of a beautiful friendship!! Current bike is Honda VFR. No offense - round these parts Harley Davidson are generally refered to as Hardly Ableson. I'd have to ride in a dark helmet to avoid recognition, which could damage more than my wrist!!! : LOLOLOL Too funny.... A bike is a bike as far as your wrists and hands go, and you still need testing done to find the problem...Not sure the vibration is good for either hands or wrists that have ct... Good luck no matter what bike you're on..:) : Debbie Debbie. Joking aside. I think most bike design is pretty archaic. We still sit on the things like a push bike - in this the Harley's feet forward style is much more logical. If your interested look up feet forward Motorcyles on the web and especially a bloke called Royce Creasley. He designed a superb "single track Vehicle" in the late 80's (the voyager) which addressed most of the inhereant design weaknesses of current bikes. Be prepared - its errr differnt. Unfortunately they only made about 7. Happy riding.
