Surgery Over With - Yah!!!!

HI all,
Surgery was done yesterday. Melani - I must say you have been so comforting to me. The bier block was a absolute breeze. I watched them wrap my arm in the wrap to cut off the circulation, the i felt the "intense burning" medicine of the block, but after that it was like my arm was paralyzed, and then i was off in la-la land. I remember them saying to me to wiggle my fingers and that they were all done. I have a huge warp on my hand, but no swelling or anything. (I had the open technique done). My hand is VERY sore today and it's hard to do much. (Thanks goodness for pain pills) LOL

Thank you so much for all the encouragement you have all given me. I was scared for nothing, and would do this all again in a heartbeat (let's hope I don't have to though!)
