I am considering quitting my job because of the pain, to me, its just not worth it. After two hours of straight typing, with a five minute break in between, my hands are burning and my arms ache. Because my WC claim hasnt been approved, I am seriously considering just getting fired, so at least I'll get an income. I am only 26 years old. I still have so much to do, but I am fighting my employer to obtain benefits so I can get some type of pain relief. The only thing that helps is Vicodin and I know it is habit forming and its only masking the problem.
people with cts definitely have a difficult road ahead as most jobs require the use of their hands.

: I am curious to know what types of careers are available to people who suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome. I am only 20 years old (still in college) and have the luxury to still change the path I am on. Is there anyone here who can still perform their jobs well despite the pain.
