: Well, after firing my attorney yesterday, I finally was able to get somewhere on my own! I called my adjuster and he made a call, within an hour he called me back and said they would be starting Voc Rehab benefits as of today! And that I should be getting a call from the Voc Rehab counselor any day.
: I asked about the period of July 1-today that I received no benefits and whether or not the Rehab benefits would be retro, he said no, that they need to get the apportionment report from the doctor first then they would pay me PD benefits for that time.
: I can't tell you how happy I am that I got rid of my attorney! I feel so much better, now that I can handle my case, and my adjusters will talk to me now.
: Thanks for listening everybody! Hope you all have a pain free and wonderful weekend!

Thats great news!!! Last night I was a little bit worried about you firing your lawyer but now I see it was the right thing to do. I think they get so many cases and let things slide too much and your right, as long as theres a lawyer, you can't talk to the adjusters. Getting your vocational rehab going and back pay is a great big victory. Good for you Teresa, you deserve it, you've been through heck. Now your days will be worry-free. You enjoy your weekend also, Melani
