Hi everyone, I just had CT release surgery on my dominat (I know I spelled wrong) hand on 9/29/03. I have not been back to work yet. My hand feels pretty good, I do know I need more time to recover, I can not squeeze anything at this point, but I'm not waking up at night with my hand asleep. My surgeon was awesome, and really had no pain after surgery. My hand was pretty numb for a couple of days. I also have carpal tunnel in my left hand which I will have surgery on as well, but I think i will wait till at least March, 2004 to have it done. I totally believe in surgery. I tried everything from Cortizone shots, braces at night. I believe the only way to get rid of CT is to release the pressure!! Good luck to anyone who is going for surgery.
