I had a ball, he had a ball and there wasn't that much that I had to do with my hands. My husbands boss had knee replacements on both knees and he didn't want to be alone in the house all day by himself. So he asked me to sit with him. There wasn't any pay exchange but if there was, I would of had to pay him for the wonderful time I had listening to his stories. Just a thought on someone looking for employment without having to wreck your hands. I think it would be a more interesting job that being a Walmart Greeter. Melani Here in California, animal sitting is the big thing these days.. People pay you to sit with their Fido's and FooFoo's and I've heard the pay isn't that bad... People sit while the owners go on vacations, to the movies, etc...All they have to do is feed, water, pet and love.. We know a sitter who actually babysat a turtle while the man was on vacation..She stayed in his beautiful home, ate his food, watered his lawn, picked up the newpapers as they were delivered and tried not to be bored out of her mind while watching a turtle..LOL
