I posted last Thursday re: Nerve Conduction results showing negative for CTS. I has a visit with the hand specialist and he was not sure what was going on either. My symptoms are STILL the same. He injected my left wrist with cortisone. By the way, he wants the brace back on during the day.(for awhile) He wants to see me in one month, or sooner if symptoms warrant. He says if the cortisone helps me, that it probably is not CTS and he wants to avoid surgery if possible. BUT if the cortisone does NOT help, then he may do the release surgery. Says the test could have been false negative? Thought I would let you know. Thanks for listening.
