Posted by LP on November 22, 2003 at 17:27:29: When I got my nerve test done for my upcoming 12/3 carpal tunnel surgery, I told the nerve doctor who performed the test that my pinkie finger hurts. He said that it would probably be from stress in my neck. He felt my neck and pressed on it and yes it hurt. It was, funny though. When he walked in the room and shook my hand, I winced in pain because he squeezed my pinkie finger when shaking my hand. He laughlingly said "Test done"! From what I am reading, from all of your experiences, this may be from a trapped ulner nerve? Should I tell the doctor before the surgery starts that I am concerned about that? I'd rather he do everything needed while he has my arm opened up! Thanks! |
