: Debbie,
: I appreciate the honesty. Many times we don't like to hear it, but it's very necessary.

: I've always been an avid fitness freak, in the gym all the time. I just assumed it was a natural progression. I never really did any research on carpal/cubital tunnel initially. In Jan I had the first surgery on the right arm/hand. Months later, after returning to full duty, it came back worse than before. An EMG confirmed that it was, in fact, worse than pre-surgery AND that I also was getting it in the left hand/elbow. I sat down then and really began to look at the timetable of when it became aggravated was always upon returning to full-duty. Then, I went back to all my Drs (surgeon, neurologist, physical therapist and had an occupational therapist do a review of my work station) and asked what they thought. It was ONLY then that they said, "Oh, yeah, it's because of your job, not weightlifting". There's also other evidence to support that it's work related.

: So, they'll go the route that I "should have known" it was work related all along and, therefore, didn't report it as such in a timely manner.

: I just don't think it's worth the headache to pursue it.

: Thanks for your thoughts on it.

I remember a time when you weren't weightlifting but the symptoms cames back anyhow, but Steve they don't want to pay people so they will use whatever they can to keep their money where they want it..
