If you can see a hand specialist for an opinion, please do. I am 8 weeks post-op for left carpal tunnel release and subcutaneous ulnar nerve transposition,at elbow. Feeling and motor skills are improving in hand and strength is slowly returning with help of an occupational therapist(hand specialist). Surgeon says I should return to full duty in about 6 more weeks. Pain not fully resolved, but better. EMG's and nerve conduction studies are sometimes negative, but if enough symptoms are present, surgery may be needed. I hope you get resolution for this problem. If you have any questions, email me.
