What if I was in that 3%? It COULD happen, y'know. What if, after having the surgery, I could never play the piano again because some quack screwed everything up? That's the thing I think about. To be honest, I don't think my CTS is bad enough for surgery. I can deal with a lttle numbness & shocks every now and then. It's not like it's a constant thing. From what I've learned here, one surgery leads to another surgery, and in some cases, ANOTHER surgery. No way!!!!

Besides, I'm in health insurance limbo right now and don't want to shell out the $$$$$ for surgery. I'd rather spend it on jewelry.
