Posted by Yuriy on December 10, 2003 at 18:16:40: Hi everyone, I know I have carpal tunnel syndrome, and I'm pretty sure I have cubital tunnel syndrome as well at least on my left arm. A couple weeks ago I bought a hand dynamometer on Ebay to test my grip strength, and it (the grip strength) has stayed pretty constant at 54kg (right hand) and 48kg (left hand). This is relatively low statistically for a 23 year old male, but I've never been all that athletic. In any case, is the fact that the grip strength has stayed constant for two weeks a good sign, or is two weeks too short a time for any change? Thanks in advance! P.S. I got that "End your carpal tunnel w/o surgery" book that Alan recommended. I'm not sure, but I think the excersizes are helping. Thanks Alan!
