I assume you have CTS (posting on this board), you will not be able to do much work manualy so the assumption is you need a managerial job.

My advise is:

1- learn Spanish (Mexican and Latin American Dialects) because 98% of your workres will be Mexican

2- study immigration laws and learn how to defend yourself and your workers if you get caught because until now there is no immigration program for farm workers

3- Get a PhD in agriculture studies and you can be brought here legaly to run some farm

4- get a loam and buy a farm, then you do not have to have green card to own a farm but you will be hiring mexicans to do the work (illegaly as we speak) so be prepared to hire lawyers too

5- come over just as a visitor and start working --when Bush's program is announced you will get amnesty

6- or stay in Europe and do not bother coming here

: Hi everyone, who could possibly give me more information about working on a ranch in Texas? I'm Dutch and not in possession of a green card. I have been working on farms in Europe before and experienced. Please e-mail me if you have valuable information for me. Thanks a lot! Jerry from Holland
