Their moved my nerve and the arm is casted bent. My little and ring fingers did, what I called "locked up", my ring finger crossed over my middle finger and my little finger stuck out to the side, and they locked in that position until I clenched my hand. I know I have got alot of muscle wastage on my hand as well, so no physio seems confusing.

: Was your's a nerve release or a movement? Is your cast straight or is the elbow bent? Either way after 3 weeks in that position you will have to work to get range of motion back. Did you have any lost of use or withering/clawing of you fingers? That is what therapy is working on most for me.

: Hope you have a smooth recovery

: : I had my Cubital tunnel surgery yesterday, and it took 90 mins under a general. They have put me in a half cast (just underneath the arm) and bandaged me from the hand to just under the armpit. I had to sleep with my arm pointing upwards last night so I got less bruising and apart from 2 pain killers everything went fine. I can wiggle my fingers and they put my arm in a sling, and I have to go back in 3 weeks time for them to remove the cast and stiches.

: : Just one strange thing, he reckon I won't need any Physio.

: : Any questions (Evelyn:)) I will be happy to go into more detail.
