Howdy dearest comrades. Something I learned the hard way, for me there is a good time and a bad time to do any exercises. When I am experiencing pain, either ongoing or frequent, I find that stretches exacerbate it every time. When my condition flares, I find that icing and reducing activity is part of what brings me back around. I have to wait for really "good" periods (pain free) to do stretches. And naturally, in the past, that's when I have wanted to just forget I have any problem and move on with life... my mistake! I've learned to faithfully do the stretches during good times, and after awhile, my bad times came less often. But I do let the pain be my guide. When I notice the pain, that's when I begin pouring on the TLC, (I also learned not to wait for it to get bad) but I must stop exercises and stick to only the very necessary functions... sorta saving my energies to open doors, eat, dress myself etc. The link is awesome, as the other half of the battle here is making sure you're doing the right exercises!!! Thanks for the great information. 'night all! Sleep well! XOX ChinaCat
