Musician in trouble

Ok, I am a bass player and I gotta say my hands get a weekly workout like no other. It started about 6 months ago with the wake up in the middle of the night tingles and the obvious pain after a weekend of gigs (it doesn't help I am on the computer mon - fri). Needless to say I am concerned about any docs poking around in my hand.

I am going to set up a doc appointment but would like some feedback from other sufferers.
