: : New Hand

: HI Melani,
: Your hand looks good! It still looks somehat "angry" here and there, I can see where they pulled out that tube. But my teeny tiny incisions looked pretty red and angry right after the stiches came out also. Take it easy and keep that hand dry!!! That's what my surgeon told me to do and it took some time but healed up nicely. But it looks like you are making progress which is great!.
: Take care,

Girlfriend I can't tell you how much better it feels. The pain is gone in the wrist and I believe with all my heart, its never going to come back. Your right on the instructions of keeping the hand dry, thats exactly what my doctor said. I was ready to pour the lotion. Where the drain tube was, its still opened quite a bit. He says it will close on its own but needs time. Yuck that work time again, lol..Its a little bit swollen but now, but I can put my hand over a cup towel and ice bag without the bulky bandage, so the swelling will go down in no time. I'm waiting for my hand to look as good as yours, soon. Love ya, Melani
