I would say, yes. The reason is that I did not have both hands tested and after having the surgery in my dominant hand I had to use the other hand while I was healing. During that time I started to experience the same pains in the other hand. We don't use our other hand that much so we do not notice the pain as much. If I had it to do over, I would have had the other one tested at the same time. Now, I have to start all over with the other side. Good Luck.
