Maybe I have CTS...I'm not sure.

Hi, everyone. I started having numbness and tingling in both hands several months ago, especially in my right hand. It has become progressively worse, and now the symptoms occur after I hold onto anything for more than a few minutes--for example, the telephone, driving, writing, using scissors or a knife. I could tolerate the numbness, but it has become painful. Every night I wake up with severe pain, which goes all the way up to my upper arm. It lasts about 30 minutes. Is it common for CTS to cause this much difficulty?
