I hear ya! Workers comp is a fricking joke!! I have been out from work for 9 months and depending on disabilty payments. The checks often get caught up due to delay in dictation and other assanine excuses.
We are not people with pain and lives. As far as the workers comp folks are concerned we are a case #, a folder on a desk!

As for make-up, I only wear make-up now on special occassions. The pain is too much. But the worst was...I had very long hair (middle of my back). I could not wash it or brush it. I had to chop it off very short.

Hang in there. I know it's rough. Unbearable is more like it. Curently I am in limbo waiting to see if my surgery will be authorized! In the meantime I cannot even hold a book up to read it!
