: If you get a second, would you update us on your healing progress? I know all of you are working folks and probably tired when you get home. But I was thinking this morning how nice it was for you to share your surgeries. New posters can benefit a great deal from your information. I hope your doing well and will let us know how things are going during your healing process. Melani

"Oops" The first reply was my "mess up"-sorry about that.
After 6 wks post surgery, my scars have healed up really good-can barely tell that they are there. But am still having the "pulling pains" going from the wrists up into the elbows, and am still having pbms with myhands going to sleep during the nite. I had my 6wk ck/up last Monday, and the dr put my back on Vioxx 25mg once daily and told me to sleep in my splints again. He said that from the trauma in both hands and wrists, the muscles are still sore, and this will just all take time to heal.He said to stay on the Vioxx for a few mos and continue sleeping with the splints on for a couple of mos and then see how the hands are feeling. I will try that. Hopefully after time they will stop hurting and I will be able to stay off the Vioxx and sleep without the splints again.
How is everyone else doing? Let us know.
Ruth M
