Learn what you can to reduce the things that aggravate the condition. Change what you can with the way you perform your work. Learn some about Workman's Compensation in your area. Night splints were effective for me to reduce night symptoms enough to sleep through the night. I had my Dr. "prescribe" them for me. Here's some light reading for your information. Scan through old posts here for other helpful hints. Also you might find stretches useful before, during and after work. I got them for use after carpal tunnel surgery on one hand but have found them useful to keep both hands limber. Finally, this board is a good supplement to advice of a good Dr., but is no substitute. Check in with a Dr. for a proper diagnosis so that you can rule out other possible causes for your symptoms and look at appropriate options for your specific circumstance. And good luck. Adam.
