: : spent 4 days in hospital cause of STAPH infections, not only that bug, also ENTEROBACTOR CLOACAE, and KLEBSIELLA PNEUMONIAE...the hopital finnally found the rite antbiotics that works to kill these bacteria, THIS SUCKS...VERY PAINFULL.On antibiotics now out of hospital, ocupational theropy 5 days a week, still unabl to mack a fist or grip any thing ..this is going to take a long time to heal.....any comments surely apreciated...THANKS

: Hi Bloomer
: I kinda thought it was hospital acquired stuff they were swabbing for. Glad they've found the right antibiotics to get rid of these horrible bugs. Still can't believe that doc had you hanging around while they waited for the results, instead of getting you into hospital for treatment.

: Hope you feel much better soon. Here's a link about these kind of infections - there's plenty more.

P.S. If the figures in the link came from a survey done in 1986-88 the percentages of incidence will at least have doubled by now.
