But a pain was coming from my stomach up my back and getting into my right shoulder. I was doubled over!! She told me to go back to hospital Emergency Room. I said no, I wasn't going back to hospital. {Will tell you more about that later!!} Anyway, I finally realized that the pain was coming from my spinel column!!!! I took a pain pill, and have been taking them every 5 hours since....and haven't had any pain at all. {Spinal cord nerve endings????} Have you ever heard of such a thing??
: Do you surpose the pain nerve in my hand has been cut through? Still no pain in hand.....???I can use the fingers, bend them, type, a little bit of numbness still in finger tips. I'm glad I had it done, glad it's over, and will probably be driving tomorrow. Will tell you more later, got to get to bed.

HI Fran,
Glad to hear you made it back! hee,hee. It sounds like you may be having a reaction to a general anthesia...they gave me on by mistake, I was supposed to be twilighted and it messed up my system for about a week. Alot of people I know have had the same symptoms with a general. If you're not feeling better you should call your doc.
I think it's great news that there is no pain in your hand. I was moving my fingers (gently)the first day with no pain, in fact was told by my surgeon to do that to keep them from getting stiff. BUt I had little to no pain unless I did something I shouldn't. So your hand situation sounds good!
Keep that puppy elevated and iced!
