: I'm having pain, numbness and sometimes painful tingling in my left arm, mostly originating at the elbow. Tingling in the hand can feel like needles. CTS describes the numbness & tingling, tendonitis describes elbow pain. So do I have both or what, and what can I do about it? I have an ACE part-neoprene wrap that helps somewhat.

Which fingers is it in? I did have problems with my elbow and tendonitis at the same time as problems with the ulnar nerve (cubital tunnel) Cubital effects the pinky and ring finger so if that is where the pins and needle feeling is it could be from the same issue all around the elbow.

Do you sleep on your stomach, on your arms? or with them bent? If so you need to try to break that habit. The bend on the nerve causes compression which causes problems. You can try to sleep with an elbow pad to keep you from bending the arm.

Hope it gets better for you soon, for the swelling in my outer elbow motrin did help and so did ice packs
